Dr Arnold Shmerling
Arnold is well-qualified in all areas of general practice. He has extensive experience in
Occupational Medicine and advanced qualifications in Travel Medicine.
Dr David Court
David has a keen interest in general practice. He completed the Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health at Monash University, and also has many years experience in Aged Care and Travel Medicine.
Dr Penelope Martin
Penny enjoys all aspects of family medicine. Her special interests include Psychological Medicine, Mental Health and Women’s Health. She has advanced training in each of these areas.
Dr Sukanya (Suki) Muraledaran
Suki has experience in all areas of general practice. She has advanced qualifications in the areas of skin cancer detection and minor surgical procedures and Psychological Medicine
and Mental Health.
Dr Deborah Taft
Deb is an experienced general practitioner with a broad range of interests including Women’s Health. Her particular speciality is Travel Medicine, and she has attended medical conferences overseas.
Dr Roslyn Quill
Ros is an experienced general practitioner with an interest in all areas. She has had several years of experience in the government health service in the areas of Occupational and Travel Medicine.
Dr Wendy Ah Sang
Wendy has a broad range of general practice experience. She is particularly interested in skin cancer detection and treatment and has an advanced qualification in the area. Her other area of interest is in student health.
Dr Lahiru (La) Silva
La has recently joined the team at Wheelers Hill Clinic. He has a specialist qualification in General Practice. He has a keen interest in Aged Care and Occupational Health. He is also well qualified in the area of skin cancer detection and treatment.

GP Registrars
Our GP Registrars are completing the final years of the Specialist General Practice qualification. They are at the cutting edge of general practice medicine and complement our team of doctors.
Dr Priyani Karunaratne
Priyani has a specialist qualification in General Practice. She has a broad range of interests but in particular enjoys Occupational Health, Aged Care and Women’s Health and Paediatrics.
Dr Guan Ye
Guan graduated from the University of Melbourne. She is a registrar undertaking training towards FRACGP. She has a strong interest in family medicine, children’s health and women’s health. Guan is married with one daughter. In her spare time she enjoys trekking and volunteers at dog rescue groups. Guan also speaks Mandarin.
